My Life in the American Dream

Once I have graduated from my California college I pursue my dream to work in a big, well-known animal  hospital. It is in the city. On a daily basis the streets are busy, people walking on the sidewalks and cars on the road. In the middle of that area is a nice sized animal hospital. At 9 a.m. is the time I should arrive at work. I work in the hospital as an assistant. That means I take care of the animals, wash them, feed them, clean supplies and kennels. I have been working this job for about five years now. I live in a neighborhood about 20 miles away. It's a friendly neighborhood with lots of trees, children and friendly people. My house is not far from all the local schools. This is handy because my husband of two years and I are expecting our first child. He drives his car to his job and I drive mine. My college friends and I still keep in touch but since we have all graduated and pursued careers we hang out maybe a few times a month. We have nice things and are able to buy nice things. This dream makes me happy because it's all I've ever dreamed of. Being as young as I am, it may change a few times because I'll never know what I want to do with life that might change this.
